Sir Dr. Huz’s Poetry
A place of peace,
Where angels bow to God’s decree.
Heaven is figurative,
Its drink curative.
It is for the soul, a reward,
God’s greatest award.
Its potentiality lies here,
Its actuality lies in the next world, there.
Heaven – I ask – “what are you?”
Give me some examples – “few”,
HEAVEN says – I am:-
And, Obedience to God.
O Heaven! I am dazzled by your beauty and splendour,
My heart cries to reach you, through God’s Will surrender.
In this world I wish no detention,
In prayer and prostration,
I wish to draw attention,
O God! Of the purity of my intention.
My soul and spirit groans, moans and cries for its ascension,
O Heaven! To reside in your permanent habitation.
