Gratitude teaches us to thank for the past. Complaint does the opposite. It makes us weep.
Many things in the past were a blessing in our lives. We need to be thankful for it. The future may be bereft of the same blessing. Feel gratitude for the past.
When you think of a close relative who has passed away, will you feel thankfulness or will you cry ? The memories & his effect on your life are exactly the same, it’s not going to change. But what differs is how you react. When you offer gratitude, it shows your positivity, & when you cry in pain, it shows your helplessness. Be positive, not helpless.
Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened !
