We sometimes feel proud of ourselves, our achievements. This sense of self-pride starts manifesting in arrogance. We start losing our humaneness, our humanity, our humility. We feel we are one above the others. Our head is held high and we look down upon others.
Isn’t this a lonely feeling? We feel superior, we act superior. We create an artificial barrier between us and others. Now, we have to suffer in our aloneness. We have chosen to raise the status of our ego. In this solitude, as we look down on the world with contempt, we suffer the branding of "Inhumaneness" to our personality. We fall in the eyes of others. Where there is no humility, there is no greatness.
Pride mars greatness!
